What is Cyber Essentials? 

Cyber Essentials is a UK Government and National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) initiative that sets a nationally recognised standard for cyber security. It covers five crucial areas: firewalls, secure configuration, access controls, malware protection, and patch management. By meeting these criteria, accredited organisations minimise the risk of common online threats and demonstrate that the right protections are in place to keep data secure.
